Practice Philosophy:

“My nurse practitioner education prepared me to focus on the whole person and not simply the illness or disease. I always incorporate this factor into all of my patient encounters. I try to put myself in the shoes of my patients and their families and speak to them as I would like to be spoken to. I think of my practice as a partnership. First, there is the partnership with my patients. We must work together to achieve common goals such as treating an infection to managing a chronic condition to incorporating wellness and preventative care into one’s lifestyle. Another partnership is the one I hold with other health care professionals. I feel that we have much to learn from one another. This to me, is the essence of professional practice: collaborating with other professionals in the best interest of high-quality patient care.”
